Sarawak Slipways Sdn Bhd provides maintenance and repair to a wide range of vessels from river tugs and barges to ocean going vessels, aluminium high speed crafts and Royal Malaysian Navy ships.

Navy Vessel Under Repair

SSSB is well known for its quality workmanship, knowledge, technical know-how and competitive in pricing. Ships maintenance and repairing works are therefore being carried out almost on a non-stop basis both at the yards and offshore anchorage. SSSB ensures that a high level stock of materials and parts are being maintained at all time and that sufficient manpower are always made available and operate round the clock as and when necessary.

• Docking and provision of general services required by vessels whilst in dry dock.
• Crop and renewal of ship’s structures.
• Blasting and painting.
• Tank cleaning.
• Major overhaul of main and auxiliary machineries including waterjet propulsion system.
• Repair and/or modification of pumping and piping arrangement.
• Rebuilding and machining of propulsion shafting and rudder stock.
• Fairing and rebuilding of propeller blades.
• Servicing and/or repairing of ship electrical and electronic systems.
• Rejuvenation of ships.
• Assist owners in all matters relating to maintenance of ships Class and compliance with IMO rules and regulations.
