Sarawak Slipways Sdn. Bhd. is operating in Miri, also known as the "Oil Town" since the discovery of oil in 1910.

The Miri Division is the largest division of Sarawak covering 26,777 square kilometers. It is rich in petroleum, natural gas and timber. Other economic activities include oil palm products, rubber, pepper, coconut oil and cocoa.

 

Miri is regarded as one of the fastest growing town in Malaysia and plays a major role in the development of various industries such as timber, oil and gas, building and construction industries in Sarawak where Sarawak Slipways Sdn. Bhd. is actively providing the industries with supporting services in the sea transportation sector by building and repairing of vessels operating in and around the region.

Coming to our Kuala Baram Yard

PLEASE make an appointment prior to coming to our yard.

When coming to our Kuala Baram yard from Miri town center, the easiest and fastest way would be to follow main road and signs towards the ASEAN BRIDGE/ BRUNEI DARUSALAM.

You should be able to see our main office building, a green and white stripped building, when you approach the traffic light junction shown in the map beside.

When you arrived, please stop at the Guard House for further guidance.
