Quality and Standard

Quality is our standard and trademark. The Company practices systematic in house quality control to ensure quality, reliable and efficient products.

It is the Company’s policy to have a Quality Control Department to function independently and effectively. The Department is to ensure that the Company’s quality control system and procedures described in its quality control manual are implemented and strictly adhered to at all time and that all works are carried out under good shipyard practice and in accordance with applicable codes, rules and regulations.

The Company’s knowledge, experience and technical know-how have been well recognised by the International Ships Classification Society Bodies and Local Statutory Bodies.

On November 9th, 2005, we were approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance to the following Quality Management System Standards:

• ISO 9001:2000
• EN ISO 9001:2000
• BS EN ISO 9001:2000
• MS ISO 9001:2000

Our exercise to obtain the ISO9001:2000 certification took only 9 months. With most of the systems required by the the ISO 9001:2000 Standard already inplace prior to our attempt to be certified, the process of certification was smooth and without any resistance.

We are proud to be the first yard in Miri, and one of the few yards in Malaysia to be certified with ISO9001: 2000.
